Hello and welcome to Beyond The Willow Photography! I am so incredibly grateful you are here to follow along on this journey. I’m Sam—the eye behind the lens, the founder of Beyond The Willow Photography, and the person dedicated to preserving your most precious memories.

My love for photography began at an early age, sparked by a lifelong obsession with capturing life's fleeting moments. To turn this passion into a refined craft, I completed formal training at the Dundas Valley School of Art. Driven to build a business that serves my community at the highest level, I also recently graduated from the YWCA’s Power Up entrepreneurship program. These experiences naturally led to the opening of my studio at the end of 2023, located right here on the beautiful Beyond The Willow homestead.

I am thrilled to welcome clients to our property, which I share with my wonderful husband, our young daughter, a cat, two dogs, and a flock of chickens. Because my own animals are such a huge part of my life, the studio is proudly 100% pet-friendly—your furry family members are always welcome in front of my camera!

While my journey began with seasonal fall mini-sessions, Beyond The Willow Photography has evolved into a full-service photography studio.
